In September 2005 Rev. Valmadge Towner was asked to serve as Friendship’s Lead Minister during the church’s pastoral search after the untimely passing of our former pastor Rev. Henderson Fields, Sr. He accepted the invitation and served in this capacity for seven months. He was recently re-elected by an overwhelming majority vote to become the tenth pastor of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.
